CHINA RE's Board Gains New Director as Regulator Approves Appointment

The National Financial Regulatory Administration has approved the appointment of Mr. He Xingda as a director of CHINA RE (01508), according to a company announcement. The approval was confirmed on August 7, 2026, when the company received the official regulatory response.

Mr. He Xingda's tenure as a non-executive director, along with his roles on the Board's Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Risk Management Committee—where he will serve as chairman—commenced on August 4, 2026. His term will continue until the expiration of the fifth Board of Directors' term, with eligibility for re-election upon completion.

The Board also announced that Ms. Jia Xiangxiang has resigned from her positions as non-executive director, as well as from her roles on the Audit Committee (as deputy chairperson), Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Risk Management Committee, citing work arrangements. Her resignation took effect on August 7, 2026, upon the delivery of her resignation letter to the Board.
