Two Innovative Medical Device Firms File for IPO on Shanghai's STAR Market

Two companies in the innovative medical device sector, Aike Medical Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (Aike Medical) and Saikesaisi Biotech Co., Ltd. (Saikesaisi), have submitted IPO applications for listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's STAR Market, with both filings now officially accepted. The STAR Market has emerged as a key platform for high-tech medical device companies in China. The listing of leading domestic high-end medical device firms has fostered collaborative innovation across the industry chain. Specialized and sophisticated enterprises such as Aike Medical and Saikesaisi, recognized as "little giant" companies, are expected to leverage capital markets to help elevate China's medical device sector from quantitative expansion to qualitative advancement.

Aike Medical is an innovative medical device company focused on the neurointervention field. It offers an integrated system spanning R&D, precision manufacturing, and global operations, providing comprehensive solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of hemorrhagic stroke, ischemic stroke, and cerebral vascular access. The company has consistently strengthened its operational scale and demonstrated steady growth. Over the past three years, Aike Medical has achieved increases in both revenue and profit, with a compound annual revenue growth rate of 1,385.37%.

Saikesaisi is a specialized and sophisticated enterprise engaged primarily in the field of absorbable implantable medical devices. It has established five core technology platforms, including PEG functional modification and bio-based polymer material modification, offering diversified solutions for clinical diagnosis and treatment. As of the end of 2025, the company had obtained approval for 25 medical device products, several of which are pioneering or exclusive in China. It has accumulated 100 authorized patents, including 62 invention patents. Over the past three years, Saikesaisi has steadily improved its profitability, demonstrating strong operational resilience.
