China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited reported to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it repurchased 600,000 ordinary shares on-market on 17 April 2026. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 16.46 to HKD 16.60, for a total consideration of HKD 9.91 million. All repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation.
Including the latest transaction, shares awaiting cancellation now total 1.83 million, acquired between 10 and 17 April at volume-weighted average prices of HKD 16.51–16.89. This represents approximately 0.05 % of the company’s outstanding 3.88 billion issued shares.
The share capital of Mengniu Dairy remains unchanged at 3.88 billion shares as of the close on 17 April 2026; no new shares have been issued or cancelled during the period.
Under the buyback mandate approved on 12 June 2025, the board is authorised to repurchase up to 391.20 million shares. To date, the company has repurchased 32.44 million shares, equivalent to 0.83 % of the issued share base at the time the mandate was granted. A 30-day moratorium on any new share issues or treasury share disposals applies until 17 May 2026 following the latest buyback.
