Galaxy General's Wang He at WRC 2026: Robots with 1 Million Error-Free Pickups Pose No Control Risk

During the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC 2026), Wang He, founder and CTO of Galaxy General, addressed media representatives in a session on Monday afternoon, shedding light on the safety governance of robotics. He argued that if the training data and system architecture are designed to eliminate any possibility of robotic "laziness" or shortcuts, then concerns about these machines ever slipping beyond human oversight become unfounded.

Wang He cited his company's healthcare operations as a case in point: "In our pharmacy deployment, we've successfully picked one million boxes of medication with zero errors. This is achieved by programming the model to require a multi-layered verification process for every single box, including image matching, name confirmation, barcode scanning, and traceability code validation, before it's placed into a bag. Through such rigorous training, the robot is conditioned to never cut corners."

While humans might skip steps when tired or overly confident, he noted that robots lack this tendency. "So there's no need to worry about machines deliberately acting against human instructions or mounting an attack," he added.

Looking further ahead, Wang He acknowledged that the threat of robots being hijacked or maliciously damaged is a systemic challenge shared by artificial intelligence and large-scale digital models. Addressing this, he said, will necessitate joint efforts through both legal frameworks and international regulations.

This discussion took place during the 2026 World Robot Congress forum, as part of ongoing dialogues about the future of intelligent machines and their integration into society.
