Major Shareholder Completes Sale of 1.84% Stake in Bank of Qingdao

Bank Of Qingdao Co.,Ltd. (ASX: 002948) has announced the completion of a significant share sale by one of its principal investors.

The shareholder, Qingdao Haier Industrial Development Co., Ltd., sold a total of 107.0945 million A-shares via block trades between July 8 and July 14, 2026. This transaction represents approximately 1.84% of the bank's total issued share capital.

The shares were disposed of at an average price of 5.21 yuan per share, with the transaction prices ranging from 5.20 yuan to 5.23 yuan per share.

Following this divestment, Haier Industrial Development's direct holding in the bank stands at 425.506841 million shares, equating to a 7.31% stake. Together with its concert parties, their combined shareholding totals 948.784443 million shares, representing 16.30% of the total.

The bank stated that this减持计划, or share reduction plan, has now been fully executed. It further clarified that this move is not expected to impact the company's governance structure or its ongoing business operations.
