Hong Kong Interbank Rates Move Mixed as One-Month Rate Falls for Fourth Straight Day to 2.94%

On October 5, Hong Kong interbank rates showed mixed movements, with the one-month rate linked to mortgage loans reported at 2.94220%, down 2.619 basis points.
The three-month rate, which reflects bank funding costs, rose 2.393 basis points to 3.26875%.
The overnight rate fell 8.536 basis points to 2.72393%.
The one-week rate dropped 17.536 basis points to 2.75738%, while the two-week rate declined 13.060 basis points to 2.77726%.
Among longer-term rates, the six-month rate edged down 0.036 basis points to 3.52964%, while the one-year rate remained unchanged at 4.01351%.
