Sheng Siong says High Court claim against independent director withdrawn

Sheng Siong Group Ltd. (OV8) announced that the Originating Claim filed against its independent director Tan Huay Lim has been discontinued and the legal proceedings are now concluded.

The case was initiated on May, 25 2023 by Zhang Zhencheng against Tan and Dasin Retail Trust Management Pte. Ltd., trustee-manager of Dasin Retail Trust. Zhang filed a Notice of Discontinuance, which the Singapore High Court accepted on May, 7 2026, formally ending the action.

The retailer said it was notified of the development by Tan and that no further court proceedings are pending in relation to this matter.
