United Overseas Bank Limited announced the pricing of GBP1.0 billion floating-rate covered bonds, set to mature on the interest payment date nearest to Feb, 25 2030.
The issue, the seventeenth series under the bank’s US$15 billion Global Covered Bond Programme, will be offered at 100% of principal and pay a quarterly coupon of compounded daily SONIA plus 0.49% per annum.
Glacier Eighty Pte. Ltd. will guarantee payments of interest and principal, secured by a portfolio of loans it has purchased from the bank. The bonds are expected to receive Aaa ratings from Moody’s Investors Service and AAA ratings from Standard & Poor’s Rating Services.
United Overseas Bank, Bank of Montreal (London Branch), The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (Singapore Branch), RBC Europe and Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) have been appointed joint lead managers.
The issue date is expected on Aug, 25 2026, and the bank intends to apply for listing and quotation of the bonds on the Singapore Exchange.
