In a recent interview, T-Mobile CEO Srini Gopalan stated that the threat posed by satellite internet services like Elon Musk's Starlink to mobile network operators is being exaggerated. Gopalan remarked that he has never been able to identify which consumer issues Starlink actually solves. He believes satellite technology will continue to serve only as a "complement" to existing network infrastructure.
