South Korea's export value reached $21.3 billion in the first ten days of August, marking a 45.3% increase compared to the $14.6 billion recorded during the same period last year, according to data released by the country's customs service on Tuesday.
During this period, import value rose by 23.1% year-on-year to $19.5 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $1.8 billion.
