Jiangsu's Solar Power Capacity Surpasses 100 Million Kilowatts

According to the latest statistics from State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd., as of the end of July 2026, the cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation in Jiangsu Province has exceeded 100 million kilowatts, reaching 100.08 million kilowatts.
This figure accounts for over 38% of the province's total installed power capacity, surpassing coal-fired, gas-fired, and wind power, making solar energy the largest power source in the province.
This milestone underscores the significant progress Jiangsu has made in transitioning to renewable energy, positioning it as a leader in China's clean energy transformation.
