Hayward Holdings, Inc. (HAYW) reported its fiscal 2026 second-quarter results on July 29, surpassing analyst expectations on core metrics and confirming its annual guidance. The positive earnings report drove the company's stock up more than 7% in pre-market trading.

The company posted net sales of $318.4 million for the quarter, a 6% year-over-year increase that exceeded the consensus estimate of $312.7 million. Net profit rose 2% to $45.6 million, or $0.21 per share, while adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.26, topping the analyst forecast of $0.25. Adjusted EBITDA grew 5% to $92.7 million.

Regionally, the North American market demonstrated strength, with net sales climbing 9% to $277.7 million, driven by effective pricing strategies and higher volumes. In contrast, sales in Europe and other regions fell 8% to $40.7 million, a decline attributed to lower volumes stemming from geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Chief Executive Officer Kevin Holleran commented that the second-quarter and first-half results reflect the company's "consistent and disciplined execution" and the resilience of its aftermarket business model. He noted that net sales growth was fueled by "strong price realization and stable volume performance." Additionally, Holleran highlighted that the company had successfully refinanced its debt, extending maturities, reducing capital costs, and enhancing financial flexibility.

Looking ahead to the full fiscal 2026 year, Hayward reaffirmed its prior guidance, projecting net sales growth of approximately 5% over fiscal 2025. The company expects adjusted diluted earnings per share to be in the range of $0.84 to $0.87, representing an increase of about 9% to 13% compared to the prior year.
