Yum China cancels 118,288 shares and buys back 90,387 more, reducing outstanding shares to 343.03 million

Yum China Holdings, Inc. disclosed that it cancelled 118,288 previously repurchased ordinary shares on 4 August 2026, alongside issuing 423 new shares for long-term incentive plans. The net effect trimmed the outstanding share count by 117,865 shares, bringing total issued shares to 343.03 million, down 0.03 % from the 3 August opening balance of 343.15 million.

On the same trading day, the company executed additional buy-backs totalling 90,387 shares: • 22,500 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at between HKD 379.20 and HKD 385.20, costing HKD 8.59 million. • 67,887 shares on the New York Stock Exchange at between USD 47.59 and USD 48.18, costing USD 3.25 million.

These purchases fall under the 34.66 million-share mandate approved on 28 May 2026. Cumulative repurchases under the mandate now stand at 4.36 million shares, equivalent to 1.26 % of the issued share base at mandate approval.

As of 4 August, a further 575,237 repurchased shares—507,350 in Hong Kong and 67,887 in the United States—remain outstanding pending cancellation.
