MCC Executes Dual-Listing Buybacks on 8 July, Acquiring 13.51 Million Shares in Hong Kong and Shanghai

Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. (MCC) intensified its share-repurchase programme on 8 July 2026, buying back a combined 13.51 million H- and A-shares across its Hong Kong and Shanghai listings.

H-share repurchase • Volume: 3.52 million shares, equal to 0.12 % of MCC’s Hong Kong-listed share capital. • Price range: HKD 1.38–1.43 per share; volume-weighted average price approximately HKD 1.42. • Cash outlay: HKD 5.00 million. • Cumulative since the 29 June 2026 mandate: 11.28 million H-shares, representing 0.40 % of the 2.84 billion H-shares outstanding on mandate date. The current authorisation allows repurchase of up to 283.90 million shares, leaving roughly 272.62 million shares available. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales extends to 7 August 2026.

A-share repurchase • Volume: 9.99 million shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, or 0.06 % of the 17.85 billion A-shares in issue. • Price range: RMB 2.48–2.54 per share; total consideration RMB 24.99 million. • Including prior market operations since January 2026, 112.27 million A-shares (0.63 % of A-share capital) are now awaiting cancellation.

Capital structure • Issued shares remain unchanged at 2.84 billion H-shares and 17.85 billion A-shares, as all repurchased shares are pending cancellation and thus still counted in the share base. • MCC holds no treasury shares.

All repurchases were conducted on-market and authorised by the board in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules and relevant domestic regulations, as confirmed by Joint Company Secretary Chang Qi.
