Macquarie has issued a research report stating that the launch of GLM-5.2 by KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (ASX: 02513) is viewed positively and could enhance the company's pricing power in subsequent subscription plans, which is expected to continue driving strong annual recurring revenue growth momentum. The firm maintains its Outperform rating on KNOWLEDGE ATLAS, with a 12-month target price unchanged at HK$1,221.4.
KNOWLEDGE ATLAS has released the GLM-5.2 model, initially rolling it out to all GLM Coding Plan subscribers (Lite/Pro/Max/Team). The model is positioned as the company's most powerful open-source model to date, with a focus on long-context coding, agent engineering, and complex system tasks. Independent API access with pricing and the open-source weights under an MIT license are both scheduled for release next week.
While benchmark data was not published at the initial launch, preliminary community feedback from social media and developer forums has been highly positive, indicating that GLM-5.2's performance in coding and long-context agent tasks is comparable to that of Claude Opus 4.7.
