Glaukos Corporation's stock surged 8.17% during extended hours trading on Thursday, following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results.

The ophthalmic therapy firm reported quarterly results that substantially exceeded analyst expectations. Adjusted earnings per share came in at a loss of $0.18, beating the consensus estimate of a $0.27 loss. Furthermore, net sales for the quarter rose 41% year-over-year to $150.6 million, surpassing the estimated $136.9 million.

In a key positive development, the company raised its full-year 2026 net sales guidance to a range of $620 million to $635 million, up from the previous forecast of $600 million to $620 million and above analyst expectations. Management cited products iDose TR and Epioxa as key growth drivers, with the glaucoma segment showing particularly strong performance, including a 58% increase in U.S. glaucoma sales. The positive results prompted analyst firms including JP Morgan and Btig to raise their price targets on the stock.
