At a recent ceremony for the full-scenario collaboration and vehicle delivery between XPeng Inc. and Shenzhou Car Rental, XPeng Inc. Vice President Gu Yuanqin engaged in a dialogue with the media.

Gu Yuanqin stated that XPeng Inc. aims to be a top performer in three key areas. The first is design, striving to create vehicles that the vast majority find aesthetically pleasing. He noted that the company has made significant progress in design this year.

The second area is quality, where substantial improvements have also been made. As sales volumes for XPeng Inc. have grown, the rate of vehicles returning to service centers has notably decreased by over 20%.

The third pillar is intelligent technology, a crucial manifestation of which is intelligent driving, or "zhi jia." Gu shared a personal anecdote, revealing that his own driver now has almost nothing to do, as he uses autonomous driving for his daily commute. "When I travel over 300 kilometers back to my hometown, I don't need a driver; I achieve zero intervention. It's like transitioning from being an assembly line worker to a supervisor—very relaxed. Unlike a traditional driver, you don't have to expend your energy every single moment," he said.
