Prudential plc repurchases 380,161 shares for about 6.6 million Singapore dollars

Prudential plc announced that, on Aug, 19 2026, it repurchased 380,161 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange for cancellation.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from approximately 17.25 to 17.65 Singapore dollars per share, for a total consideration of about 6.6 million Singapore dollars.

Following the transaction and the cancellation of 372,457 shares completed on Aug, 19 2026, Prudential plc’s issued share capital stood at 2,498,602,274 shares.

The buy-back forms part of the company’s existing mandate, approved on May, 14 2025, which authorises repurchases of up to 262.7 million shares. As of the latest transaction, Prudential plc has repurchased roughly 114.3 million shares under this mandate, representing 4.39 % of the share count on the mandate’s adoption date.

A moratorium on the issuance of new shares or the sale of any treasury shares remains in effect until Sep, 18 2026.
