ZHAOJIN MINING (01818) extended its rally, climbing more than 4% as of press time, with shares up 4.23% to HK$23.64, on a trading volume of HK$276 million. This follows the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announcement on July 13 that it would roll out 18 stock options in three batches on August 10, 17, and 31. The move broadens investor choice, allowing market participants to select the most suitable expiry contracts for their trading and risk management needs. On August 17, HKEX officially listed stock options for ZHAOJIN MINING, simultaneously introducing both weekly and monthly contracts. First Shanghai Securities previously noted that ZHAOJIN MINING is in the best development opportunity period in its history. The 2025 earnings breakout has validated the strong profitability of its existing operations, while the anticipated full production of the海域金矿 (Haijin Gold Mine) by 2028 is expected to contribute at least 15 tonnes of gold output, unlocking unprecedented growth potential going forward. The brokerage believes the company is a core asset in the gold sector with high certainty and strong growth, offering long-term strategic allocation value.
