Tan Chong International Ltd. said it anticipates an unaudited unrealised loss of about HKD512 million on investments measured at fair value through other comprehensive income for the six months ended Jun, 30 2026.

The projected figure compares with an unrealised loss of HKD37 million in the same period of 2025 and stems from mark-to-market declines in the share prices of the group’s listed investments.

The loss will be booked under other comprehensive income and is not expected to be reclassified to the consolidated statement of profit or loss.

The company is finalising its interim results, which it plans to publish before the end of Aug, 31 2026.

Tan Chong International advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities.
