Zero Co. FY26 revenue edges up 1.8%, profit flat; forecasts further gains

Zero Co., Ltd. (9028) reported that revenue for the fiscal year ended Jun, 30 2026 rose 1.8% year on year to about S$1.51 billion, supported by steady contributions from its domestic automotive-related, human-resource and general-cargo businesses.

Operating profit inched up 0.8% to roughly S$103 million, while profit attributable to shareholders was broadly unchanged at around S$72 million. The company’s operating margin was 6.8%, and return on equity improved to 15.9%.

By segment, domestic automotive-related activities generated S$713 million in sales, up 2.4%, with segment profit increasing 5.1% on efficiency gains and stronger maintenance revenue. Human-resource services delivered S$238 million in revenue, up 3.1%, and a 16.8% rise in segment profit. General-cargo operations produced S$68 million in revenue, up 4.6%, lifting profit by 12.6%. Overseas businesses were flat at S$488 million in revenue, but profit fell 51.0% due to weaker vehicle-transport demand in China and one-off gains booked a year earlier.

The balance sheet remained solid with total assets of about S$772 million and an equity ratio of 62.3%. Year-end cash and cash equivalents stood at S$172 million after operating cash inflow of S$82 million.

Zero Co. declared a full-year dividend of ¥140.30 per share, representing a 33% payout ratio. For the year to Jun, 30 2027 the company guides for revenue of roughly S$1.55 billion (+3.0%), operating profit of about S$110 million (+6.7%) and net profit attributable to shareholders of approximately S$73 million (+1.2%).
