Three enterprises in Qingyuan have been included in the 2026 list of Guangdong Provincial Advanced Smart Factories.
The list was recently announced jointly by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration.
The successful companies are Guangdong Jiaxiya Daily Necessities Technology Co., Ltd., Mengniu Dairy (Qingyuan) Co., Ltd., and Qingyuan Hailong Biotechnology Co., Ltd..
To date, the city has established a total of 19 foundational-level smart factories and 4 advanced-level smart factories.

What makes these advanced smart factories so intelligent? A visit to the production command center of Guangdong Jiaxiya Daily Necessities Technology Co., Ltd. provides a clear example.
Large screens display real-time data on production line capacity, material inventory, equipment status, and product quality inspection.
Staff monitor the production status closely, with the entire workflow from workshop scheduling and material feeding to processing and warehousing being remotely coordinated and dispatched through a digital control system.

Advanced smart factories are provincially recognized "top performers" in manufacturing intelligence, representing a higher level of development in regional smart manufacturing.
Recognized enterprises rely on digital and networked technologies to transform their entire production and management processes.
By deploying intelligent production equipment in bulk and implementing integrated industrial software applications, they break down data barriers across production stages.

Progress in Digital Transformation
In recent years, through the ongoing push for digital transformation in manufacturing, Qingyuan has established a full-process enterprise service mechanism encompassing "reserve-cultivation-empowerment".
The city has steadily rolled out digital profiling and evaluation work for industrial enterprises above a designated size.
Currently, a total of 900 such enterprises in the city have completed a digital baseline assessment.
Among them, 663 have reached Level L2 or above in smart manufacturing capability, with a profiling completion rate of 70% and an assessment pass rate of 73.7%.
With the addition of these three new advanced smart factories, Qingyuan now has 19 foundational-level and 4 advanced-level smart factories.
These cover key real economy sectors such as daily chemicals and food, forming a basic framework of a tiered and categorized gradient cultivation system for smart manufacturing.
Tangible Benefits of Upgrading
The quality and efficiency improvements brought by smart manufacturing upgrades are already evident in the newly recognized companies.
Taking Jiaxiya as an example, a typical enterprise in Qingyuan's daily chemical industry for its intelligent transformation, the company has carried out a digital overhaul of its entire production line in recent years.
The goal has been green production and cost reduction with efficiency gains.
The enterprise collaborated with China Mobile's Qingyuan branch to build a 5G+ smart factory, implementing intelligent production lines and an information management platform.
By establishing an integrated flexible production system encompassing intelligent batching, automated filling, visual online quality inspection, and smart warehousing, and by connecting data from management systems like MES, WMS, and ERP, the company has built a full-process data traceability system from raw material intake and production scheduling to finished product shipment.
This has effectively reduced labor costs, improved product quality stability, and supported the mass production of household cleaning products like laundry detergent and laundry capsules.
In 2025, the company's total industrial output value reached 301 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 259.9%. Based on current production plans, its output value is expected to exceed 600 million yuan in 2026.
The other two recognized companies, Mengniu Dairy (Qingyuan) Co., Ltd. and Qingyuan Hailong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., have also deepened their intelligent practices in food manufacturing and biological feed, respectively.
Mengniu Dairy focuses on full-chain digital control of dairy production, continuously improving production efficiency and quality control levels by introducing intelligent filling, online inspection, and automated warehousing and logistics systems.
Qingyuan Hailong Biotechnology has promoted the construction of systems for intelligent batching, automatic packaging, and quality traceability in the feed processing segment, using digital and intelligent means to solidify product competitiveness.
These three benchmark enterprises, covering the daily chemical, food, and biological feed sectors, collectively sketch a dynamic picture of Qingyuan's smart manufacturing flourishing across multiple points and deepening its penetration across industries.
Future Development Direction
Currently, the construction of smart manufacturing in Qingyuan is shifting from pilot projects at individual enterprises to the clustered development of high-quality enterprises.
Moving forward, Qingyuan will continue to refine its policies for the gradient cultivation of smart manufacturing, encouraging more industrial enterprises to undertake intelligent transformation and implement digital application scenarios.
