Mongolian Mining Corporation disclosed a Next Day Disclosure Return showing continued execution of its on-market share buy-back programme.
On 9 July 2026 the company repurchased 1.80 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 6.58 and HKD 6.76, spending HKD 12.06 million. The volume-weighted average price for the day was approximately HKD 6.70 per share.
Including seven earlier tranches carried out between 24 June and 8 July, Mongolian Mining has now bought back 8.30 million shares in 2026 for cancellation. The aggregated cost of these transactions amounts to about HKD 54.40 million, representing 0.80% of the company’s 1.03 billion issued shares. All repurchased shares remain outstanding as of 9 July and will be cancelled upon settlement, leaving the current share count unchanged at 1.03 billion.
The buy-backs are being executed under the mandate approved by shareholders on 21 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 103.42 million shares. As of 9 July, 8.0% of the mandate has been utilised.
Pursuant to Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06(3)(a), Mongolian Mining is now subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 8 August 2026. The board confirms that all repurchases complied with applicable listing rules and regulatory requirements.
